MODTAF EMPOWERS WIDOW OF LAGELU APC CHIEFTAIN
The recent death of one of the sons of a prominent King in Ejioku which took place around November of last year at the Lagelu APC Secretariat truly shows that Death is inevitable, but we can reduce the suffering that widows endure by raising their status and helping them in their hour of need. This is what Mrs. Modinat Temitope Adeyemo recently demonstrated by saddling it upon herself to take care of the weeks-old baby left behind by the deceased.
Recently, the Management of the Modinat Temitope Foundation (MODTAF) paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased. There, the Founder and President of the Modinat Temitope Foundation, Mrs. Modinat Temitope Adeyemo pledged the sum of N20, 000.00 (Twenty Thousand Naira Only) monthly grant for the monthly upkeep of the weeks-old baby left behind by the deceased.
The grant, now in its third month hopes to meet the monthly needs of the baby and his mother.
The widow of the deceased while appreciating the gesture thanked Mrs. Modinat Temitope Adeyemo for fulfilling the promises of taking care of her baby left behind by her deceased husband.
In the same vein, Mrs. Modinat Temitope Adeyemo vowed to continue to take care and assist the less privilege people from Akinyele and Lagelu Government Areas irrespective of their party affiliations, tribe, religion, sect, colour and culture.
She finally condoled with the immediate family of the deceased and prayed that God would grant the departed eternal rest.
