IFOKANBALE DISSOCIATES SELF FROM DEROGATORY RELEASE PUBLISHED AGAINST HON. OLAFISOYE AKINMOYEDE
An aspirant contesting for the APC ticket of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Hon. Modinat Temitope Adeyemo has distanced herself from a derogatory press release published by a jobless and faceless group to discredit and tarnish the political reputation of a former Lagelu Local Government Chairman and former Chief Whip in the 8th Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede.
Parts of her Statement read “My attention has been drawn to a spurious publication published on Sahara Reporters on Wednesday 13th April where a group of people who called themselves Lagelu Legacy Youth Movement wrote a derogatory statement discrediting and tarnishing the political reputation of a former Lagelu Local Government Chairman and former Chief Whip in the 8th Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede.”
“Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede and I are members of the same political party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) and from the same Federal Constituency (Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency). For the avoidance of doubt, I and members of my Campaign Organization want to completely dissociate ourselves from the said release as it is the handiwork of a faceless group of mercenary politicians with no established pedigree in honour and commitment, a rambling and frivolous group who see in politicking a chance to make lose money that bestows no respect on those on that pedestal,”Hon. Modinat Temitope Adeyemo said.
Hon. Modinat Temitope Adeyemo finally claimed that the spurious publication was sponsored by the followers of anti-Lafi elements “whose mindset is mainly primed on misinformation, generating disinformation and sustenance of falsehood all in a desperate attempt to paint a bad picture of Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede.
